The enormously talented Denise Keim and I are teaming up this Saturday for a one night, two-stop photo show. I’ll be showing brand new work along with some old favorites, including stereo (3D) slides. Denise has a plethora of gorgeous black & white prints. I’ll be at my studio, and Denise will be at hers for the duration of the show (we’re hoping to have a video linkup). Look for the stream of indicator stop bath on the sidewalk between the two buildings. Please stop by both studios Saturday night if you’re in Chicago and free. Here are the addresses:

Today’s Flak Photo is one of mine–a shot of the lovely and talented Chamber Strings‘ front man, Kevin Junior.
It’s springtime, and Of Montreal is looking more fabulous than you are. Watch out for the ninja! If you’re so inclined, you can catch them in action in Toronto on May 4th; Paris May 8th, and on May 11th they’ll be taking the stage at the All Tomorrow’s Parties Festival in East Sussex, England.

This Saturday, April 26th, painter Derek Erdman and photographer Jim Newberry (AKA, me) present the second annual Lethargy Art Walk. The Lethargy Art Walk is a lot like Around the Coyote, or the Pilsen Artists’ Walk, only much, much, much less walking. There’s my studio, and across the hall, Erdman’s place.
