In LA I had the pleasure of catching up my childhood friend Christopher Hoffman, who I hadn’t seen in over 20 years.
Night of the Chicago expats! In Albuquerque, my pals Diane and Marco (former Chicagoans) introduced me to Andrew and Katie Stone (Katie is from the Chicago area), who graciously put us up. At the Albuquerque venue Launchpad we went to see The Handsome Family, featuring Chicago expats Rennie Sparks, Brett Sparks, and Steve Dorocke.
